Walkersville Man Arrested for Possession of PCP and Fake Cocaine

On February 28, 2017, at approximately 10:52 PM, The Frederick Police Department received a report of a shooting that had occurred in the 1300 block of Motter Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located two males that matched the descriptions given by the caller.

Upon further investigation, officers determined that no shooting had taken place. The two males were involved in a fracas with each other; however neither desired any legal action to take place against one another and no one was injured.

While officers were speaking to one of the subjects, they detected the odor of phencyclidine (PCP) coming from his person. That subject was arrested and during the search of his person, officers found a small glass vile containing phencyclidine. Officers also located drug packaging material (numerous small Ziploc baggies), a scale and a substance that initially appeared to be powder cocaine. Upon examination of the substance, officers determined the substance not to be an illegal substance; however it did appear that the subject was packaging and selling the fake drugs as cocaine.

That male was identified as Preston Sean Green, born October 23, 1978. Mr. Green provided an address on Water Street Road in Walkersville that does not appear to exist. Green was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing. He was charged with resisting / interfering with arrest, possession of PCP, and possession with the intent to distribute the counterfeit drugs. He is being held without bail.
