Walkersville Library Kicking Off Summer Challenge Program: Universe of Stories on June 8th

Walkersville Library has a set of events planned for Saturday, June 8, 2019 to coincide with our Summer Challenge Program: Universe of Stories.

June 8 at 11:30 a.m.

Dr. John Logsdon, Professor Emeritus for the Space Policy Institute at the George Washington University will present a talk entitled Once We Went to the Moon: Why We Went, Why We Stopped, and Will we Go Again? This is based upon his book “John F. Kennedy and the Race to the Moon.” (Adults)

June 8 at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Cosmic Adventures will present “A Brief Tour of the Universe.” Come inside the “pop-up” planetarium to view the universe, including planets, stars, constellations, and the moon. Space is limited. (All Ages)
