Town of Walkersville Seeks Applications for New Town Manager

The Town of Walkersville is now accepting resumes for Town Manager. The long time Town Manager, Gloria Long Rollins announced her retirement, and Burgess Chad Weddle asked her to remain on the job to allow a smooth transition.

This professional, supervisory position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative, fiscal, and program duties in support of the Burgess and Commissioners.

This position serves as treasurer, chief financial officer, and personnel officer. Supervision is received from the Burgess and is given to Town office staff.

The Town Manager requires the ability, willingness, and flexibility to work evenings for meetings. The successful applicant must pass a physical and drug test.

Salary for Town Manager is advertised at $70,000 – $85,000 , depending on experience and abilities.
