Walkersville Passes Budget and Tax Rate
The Town of Walkersville’s Burgess and Commissioners will meet this evening to discuss the tax rate and proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2016. During their meeting on May 13, 2016, the Burgess and Commissioners voted to move ahead with a proposed budget and maintaining the current tax rate of $0.15 per $100 assessed value. That vote brought the matter to a public hearing this evening.
