It seems like an average day at the Discovery Crossing Shopping Center, today. The parking lot was full of cars as patrons shopped, saw their eye doctors, dined in the restaurants, or saw an accountant. A week ago tonight, this location saw a horrific crime. Gerald Campbell, the Goodwill security guard shot multiple times Thursday night, remains at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in Baltimore. His condition has been upgraded to “serious” according to Chris Lindsey of the University of Maryland Medical Center Public Affairs.
