The senior cafeteria is a lot of student’s favorite place to eat in the whole cafeteria. Out of the bustle of the cafeteria, the senior cafeteria is a smaller room with far less people.

Though it’s called the senior cafeteria, students of every age sit here to enjoy their lunch. Skylar Goetz is a Junior who sits at the senior cafeteria on a daily basis. Her favorite part is “Not a lot of people can sit in there, so the noise isn’t bad.” One of the students that she sits with who is also a junior, Jeremy Pirker says “It’s way less crowded and a lot smaller, I love it!”. Rachel Canzoneri, who is also apart of the junior class says her favorite part about the senior cafeteria is “that it’s secluded from everyone else so less people are around.” Some students prefer some more quiet when eating their lunch, and the senior cafeteria is the perfect accommodation for those students.

The students of the main cafeteria get extremely rowdy and have many incidents due to the behavior of people who sit there. This does not happen in the senior cafeteria, as the calm, mature atmosphere of the room is reflected to anyone who sits there. Everyone who sits in the senior cafeteria calmly comes to the table, sits and talks amongst their friends for the short time they’re given.

No food fights, yelling, real fights, or crazy antics occur in the senior cafeteria. Only mature, calm discussions over a wonderful meal provided by the cafeteria’s fantastic new management. Those who do tend to cause a ruckus generally adapt to the calm ways of the senior cafeteria, and begin to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a real cafe. The senior cafeteria is a great place to sit, but only if you have the maturity to handle it.
