Scouting for Food Drive
Scouting for Food drive is Saturday, Nov 12. Please support the Food Bank by participating. Scouts left bags on front doors on Nov 5, and will return to pick up filled bags for the Food Bank on Saturday, Nov 12. Please have bags outside by 9:00 am. There are not enough Scouts to cover every neighborhood in our growing community.
If the Scouts didn’t get to your neighborhood to leave bags last Saturday, why not fill a bag (and collect a couple neighbors’ bags) and bring them to the parking lot of the Town Hall on Saturday, Nov 12 between 9 am and noon?
Your generosity allows us to provide food for approximately 140 to 200 families a month. All non-perishable food items are welcome. Please check the “use by” date.
Items that would be especially appreciated:
Canned tuna, canned fruit/applesauce, canned pasta (spaghetti-o’s, etc.), baked beans,
Cereal, baking items (cake mixes, frosting), pancake mix, syrup,
Toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
