Roll Over on US 15
At 2:06 p.m on May 8, 2016., units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched for a vehicle collision with a roll over at U.S. 15 and Cemetery Drive. While units were en route, Frederick County Emergency Communications Center advised units that the collision involved a pick-up truck and a tractor trailer with one on its side.
M-2 arrived on the scene to find one vehicle on its side and all patients out of the vehicle. Rescue Squad 24 arrived on the scene to block traffic, and the crew went to work checking for any leaking fluids.
Duty 24 of the Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company established command.
Ambulance 229 arrived on the scene to start patient care. Engine 221 arrived on the scene to assist with blocking traffic.
All patients refused transport.
