Reports of Runaway Hiding in the Parks
Recently, a young female with a bike lived in Creamery Park for a week. She was hiding her bike in the pine tree used for Christmas and slept in the pavilion. A neighbor called the police because the girl looked like she couldn’t be more than thirteen years old. The neighbor saw other girls occasionally come to the park with food to give the young girl living in the park.
The police responded and talked to the girl. After forty-five minutes, a man pulled up in a car, spoke to the police, and took the girl and her bike.
The young girl is rumored by neighbors to have been a runaway. The neighbors ask for people to be aware and watch for the girl so that she can get help.
