Physical Education Teacher Jennifer Kendro the Proud Mom of a Baby Boy

Two weekends ago, physical education teacher Jennifer Kendro gave birth to a beautiful baby baby boy. She was glad to tell us how her wonderful new addition came to be. This is what Kendro had to tell us.
“We found out I was pregnant in July of this past summer. We found out the gender at our 20 week sonogram on October 31st. We shared the news by having our son, Kaiden, open a pumpkin filled with blue confetti. My mom was the only one who knew the results so seeing blue inside was a surprise to all of us!
“We would like all of our children to be names starting with K since our last name is Kendro matching my husband’s initials. Kamden has always been our second favorite boy name so we went with that. Michael is his middle name, named after my dad.
“Kamden was born this past Saturday, March 25th at 4:33 pm. It was one week past his due date so we were all ready! I had contractions all week but my active labor started Saturday morning at 9 am. We arrived at the hospital at 10:30 and he was here a few hours later. He was 9 lbs 5 ounces and 22 inches long.”
Guidance secretary Kelly Cardy said “I’m so excited for her baby! He’s a boy. Me and Mrs. Kendro know each other through work. I’m very happy for her.”
Guidance counselor Ryan Defibaugh said “ I am very happy for her, but I think mothers should get more maternity leave like a lot of other countries. America thrives on production and not family.”
Kendro is enjoying her time with her little ones and will be back pretty soon. She and her beautiful baby are doing great. We hope to see you soon Kendro!
