Collision at 194 & East Frederick St
At 2:12 p.m. on November 1, 2016, Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Route 194 and East Frederick Street for a vehicle collision.
Chief 24-2 arrived on the scene to find two vehicles with one patient still in the vehicle. Engine Tanker 114 arrived on the scene to block traffic and check for leaking fluids.
Ambulance 169 arrived on the scene to start patient care. Duty 11 requested a second transport unit for another patient.
One patient was transported and one refused transport. All units cleared and went in service as ready.
