Lamp Post Ripped Down
Not long after the Coca-Cola machine at Walkersville Pharmacy was toppled by vandals, one of Colony Village’s decorative lamp posts along South Glade Road met a similar fate.
There was no indication as to the cause of the damage, but the lamp post has been “coned-off” for safety. The lamp post is not far from the damaged soda machine. It is also very close to a busy intersection for pedestrians, children on bicycles and scooters, and a large bus stop for Glade Elementary School students.
