Cub Mudder Event
The Glade Valley Scout Troops will host CubMudder, a free obstacle course for boys and girls aged 4 – 14 years old. The CubMudder will be held on May 21, 2016 at the Walkersville Community Park from Noon until 4:00 p.m.. The event is free and open to all children.
Registration will open at 12:00 p.m. The first wave of participants will be released at 12:30. The last wave will be released at 3:00 p.m. Continuous waves of runners will be released every 5-10 minutes throughout the day starting at 12:30.
The entire park will be transformed into an obstacle course suited for youth. Each obstacle will be run by local Boy Scouts and participants will be permitted to run the course as many times as they wish.
Obstacles may include Rope bridge, wall climb, “barb-wire” crawl, hill climber, rope swing, tire flip, wheel barrow race, buddy carry, hurtles, rope climb, monkey bars, maze, water hazard, balance beam, Big Balls, balance beam, and of course… a mud crawl.
