County Executive Gardner Invites Public to Provide Input on Budget

Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner encourages citizens to attend a public hearing to provide comments on what they want to include in the county’s budget. The budget is the most important task of the county. The budget should reflect community values and priorities.

The hearing will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 20, in the first floor hearing room of Winchester Hall, located at 12 East Church Street, Frederick, Md.

The public will be presented with a listing of agency budget requests to be considered for inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2018 budget, which starts July 1, 2017. Everyone will be afforded an opportunity to share their thoughts regarding budget priorities.

The public hearing will be televised on FCG TV, cable channel 19, and webcast on www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video.
