Maryland Progresses to Stage Two of Recovery

Governor Larry Hogan announced this afternoon that 380,716 COVID-19 tests had been completed in Maryland; 14,385 tests were completed in the past twenty-four hours. Hogan also announced that a high-tech lab at University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine opened and is fully operational weeks ahead of schedule. The lab utilizes specialized Korean machinery and cutting-edge robotics to run tests at a high volume. Drive-Thru Food Pantry at Fredericktowne Baptist Church

For the past five years, Fredericktowne Baptist Church in Walkersville held First Saturday Suppers. On the first Saturday of each month, the church prepared a dinner and opened their doors to the community to enjoy dinner and go through their food pantry. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the church had to stop their monthly dinners. Instead, they will host a drive-thru food pantry.
