Walkersville Middle recommended as site for new Rock Creek School

The Frederick News Post reports: The latest recommendation calls for building the new Rock Creek School on the same grounds as Walkersville Middle School. The architect of the school, as well as Frederick County Public Schools staff, reviewed seven possible sites for the new Rock Creek School, a school for students from ages 3 to 21 with severe disabilities. Mr. James F. “Jim” Grove, Sr., 78, of Walkersville, Maryland passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. His beloved wife, June L. Grove, died July 20, 2014. They were married 48 years. Born on May 31, 1939, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Chester L. and Emma (Miller) Grove.
