DINE OUT NIGHT fundraiser for the Walkersville Middle School PTA is scheduled for Thursday, January 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings on Shorebird Street in Frederick. You will need to give your server a “fundraising ticket” for us to receive 15% from food sales (less alcohol). You can pick up a “fundraising ticket” at the WMS Front Office or click here “fundraising ticket” and print one out. So come on out and show your support Walkersville Middle School!

Dollar Kingdom in the Walkers Village Shopping Center will soon close its doors in one week. The Columba family of Walkersville opened the store about fifteen years ago, and continue to operate the business. By 2010, the store moved to a larger space in the shopping center while other businesses vacated. The business kept a steady customer base offering a variety of products including household supplies, balloons, toys, and more. The Walkersville Middle School’s Drama Department seeks to raise funds for its programs with a fundraiser sponsored by Trout’s Towne Restaurant in Woodsboro. The WMS Drama Department receives a portion of every omelet or dessert sale between now and January 17, 2016. Please mention the Walkersville Middle Drama Department. Trout’s Towne Restaurant is located at 200 North Second Street in Woodsboro, Maryland. They are open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Its a great way to support a local business and our local middle school thespians!
