Mike is the publisher and editor of GladeValley.net. After growing up on a farm in Frederick County, Mike moved to Walkersville with his wife to start their family. Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Board Member, Federated Charities, and more.

School Supplies Distributed

Recognizing that the cost of school supplies can be prohibitive for some families, Glade Valley Community Services, Inc. conducts a school supply distribution each year to help students get a jump start on the school year. A lack of supplies can be a contributing factor to a poor attitude and poor grades in school. School supplies were distributed on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Glade Valley Food Bank. TODAY – FRIDAY – 10/23/15 WHS HOMECOMING PARADE – 5:00 PM WHS HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME – 7:00 PM THE CROWNING OF THE KING AND QUEEN!!!!
