Mike is the publisher and editor of GladeValley.net. After growing up on a farm in Frederick County, Mike moved to Walkersville with his wife to start their family. Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Board Member, Federated Charities, and more.

Scouting for Food Drive

Scouting for Food drive is Saturday, Nov 12.  Please support the Food Bank by participating.  Scouts left bags on front doors on Nov 5, and will return to pick up filled bags for the Food Bank on Saturday, Nov 12. Please have bags outside by 9:00 am.   There are not enough Scouts to cover every neighborhood in our growing community. If the Scouts didn’t get to your neighborhood to leave bags last Saturday, why not fill a bag (and collect a couple neighbors’ bags) and bring them to the parking…

BREAKING NEWS! HOURS FOR THE SPECIAL GATE HAVE BEEN EXTENDED FOR PRE-SALE TICKET HOLDERS. THE GATE WILL BE OPEN FROM 5:30 TO 6:30 pm. Attention, Blue and Gold Crew!  We will be pre-selling Student tickets on Friday, November 4 for the Varsity Football game versus Middletown during all Lunch Shifts.  The cost is $2.00.  Students may also purchase tickets for students not in the building because of CTC, FCC or Work Study programs. Walkersville High School Fundraisers in November

WHS Drama Boosters will be sponsoring an Ice Skating Party and Roy Rogers Night 11/12/16.  The charge is $10 per skater from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and then you can enjoy a nice meal from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Roy Rogers.  Both events will benefit the Drama Booster program.
