Since moving to Walkersville, Mike and Emily's three children were born and attend local public schools. Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Residents of the Town of Walkersville re-elected Burgess Chad Weddle and Commissioner Mary Ann Brodie-Ennis in the Town’s triennial elections Monday, September 10, 2018. Chad Weddle was first elected Commissioner in 1996, and elected Burgess in 2015. This will be Mr. Weddle’s second term as Burgess. Mary Ann Brodie-Ennis is currently serving her first term as Town Commissioner after being elected in 2015. Walkersville Candidates’ Forum Lets Citizens Hear from Candidates

The Town of Walkersville hosted a Candidates’ Forum last night at Town Hall. Candidates for Walkersville Burgess and Town Commissioners were all invited. All three of the Burgess candidates and ten of the eleven candidates for Town Commissioner participated; Burgess Candidate Russ Winch participated remotely, and Commissioner Candidate John Zimmerman could not attend. A crowd of approximately 100 citizens listened to each candidate give their five minute stump speech and ask for their vote in Monday’s election. Ernest Paul Naundorf, age 71, of Walkersville, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, following a lengthy illness. Born November 24, 1946 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Paul Hans and Julia Faye Hill Naundorf. He was the husband of Phyllis Toms Naundorf and they would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on Sept. 5. Mr. Naundorf was a 1964 graduate of Walkersville High School. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam until 1970 as a Petty Officer 2nd Class, serving on the USS Hoel. He…
