The Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company responded to a wire that caught for in Old Town Walkersville Tuesday evening. The wire ran from a pole at Five Corners on Main Street to another pole along Liberty Street. The fire was reported about 8:00 p.m. A neighbor reported it was out by 8:19 p.m.
