Police Seek Missing Family

Myung Joo, age 33, 5’06”, 170lbs, brown hair, brown eyes- Youn Kim, age 35

Vehicle Description: 2005 Mercury sedan, Maryland registration A386986
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is conducting a missing person investigation for the Joo Family, of Bravehart Drive in Frederick. Myung Joo, age 33, his wife, Youn Kim, age 35, and their three children, Laura Joo, age 5, Jenna Joo, age 3, and Brandon Joo, age 1, have been missing since 10/23/15. A family friend reported Myung Joo missing when he did not return to work as expected on 10/23/15 around 6:00 p.m. Investigators discovered the Joo family was not at their residence, one of the family vehicles, a 2005 Mercury sedan bearing Maryland registration A386986 was missing, and both family cell phones had been turned off. Laura Joo was checked out of school early on 10/23/15 by Myung Joo.
