Motor Vehicle Collision at Crum Road and MD 194 Sends Four to Hospitals

Driver/passengers(s)/pedestrian: The investigation is ongoing. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrians was identified as a 71 year old female from Walkersville. 3 Pedestrians were struck.
Victim(s)/Injuries: 3 Pedestrian’s were struck with serious injuries. Two were transported by Trooper 3 and Trooper 2 to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, the other pedestrian involved elected to drive them self to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
Accused: 71 year old female from Walkersville identified as the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrians.
Charges: Pending further investigation at this time.
Disposition: Investigation is ongoing
Narrative: On 2-15-19 at approximately 1800 Hours TFC. Carter was dispatched to a two vehicle collision located at Route 194 at Crum Road which was being reported to be in the roadway. While on scene TFC Carter observed a vehicle that was traveling southbound Route 194 at Crum Road to strike one of the other vehicles involved in the initial motor vehicle collision, subsequently pushing that vehicle into a group of pedestrians standing on the roadway. At this point there are multiple reported injuries. Investigation is ongoing.
