The overall production went very well, and many Walkersville actors even received individual awards. Junior Erin Kopit received the “Excellence in Acting” award, senior Will Anderson got the “Peggy O’Brien Comedy” award, and junior Noah Patrick received the “Commitment to Character” award. Walkersville’s actors were very proud of their fellow actors, but even more pleased when their student director, senior Jayla Polluck, received the “Best Student Director” award.

Polluck shared, “It was cool. I have always wanted to receive an award from Folgers, especially for something I enjoy doing.”

McMahon commented, “I’m really proud of my friends for doing great.”

“I was really happy about awards because Jayla got the Student Director Award and I was so proud because she really deserved it,” stated Shoemaker.
