Walkersville Middle School Students Compete at State MathCounts
On Saturday, March 18, 2017, five students representing Walkersville Middle School competed at the State Level MathCounts competition at John Hopkins University. Out of more than eight-hundred “mathletes” in Maryland, only twenty percent compete at the state level.
Walkersville’s five Mathletes were: Pruthav Patel, Jimmy Yang, Bradley Morhiser, and Maya Brown. Mr. Silver, a math teacher at Walkersville Middle School, coaches the mathletes. He is so very proud of the accomplishments of the mathletes, and how well they worked this season.
