Walkersville Middle School Back to School Dates
OPEN HOUSE: Tuesday, August 22
Walkersville Middle will host their Open House on Tuesday, August 22. Families can pick up their student schedule, purchase locks and agendas, and tour the building informally.
Walkersville Middle School PTSA will be present. Families are encouraged to consider becoming a PTSA member!
WMS teachers will not be available during the open house, but the building will be open so students can walk their schedule. Extracurricular club information will be offered in the cafeteria.
Please note student schedules will not be available prior to this date. Any schedules not picked up on August 22 will be mailed home.
Two sessions will be offered:
- Session 1: 9:00 am – 12 Noon (Optional presentation at 10 am in cafeteria)
- Session 2: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Optional presentation at 5:00 pm in cafeteria)
BACK TO SCHOOL EVENING: Wednesday, August 30
WMS will host their evening Back to School on Wednesday, August 30 from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Families are invited to meet the WMS staff, tour our building and students can walk their schedule.
Locks and agendas will also be for sale.
Families will have the opportunity to also put money on their child’s lunch account.
The PTSA will be available for those considering becoming a PTSA member!
Additionally, several extracurricular club representatives will be available in the cafeteria.
There will be an optional presentation in the cafeteria beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Locks and agendas will be available in the front office beginning on Thursday, August 24. These items can be purchased between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in the front office.
