Walkersville High School to Offer Every Student a Chromebook
Walkersville High School announced today that it will offer Chromebooks to every student beginning in October of this year.
Over the next week a sequence of information will be sent out through Find Out First, The Parent Pipeline, First Day take home paperwork, and on the WHS Website. Administration will share overall procedures and information with students on the first day of school and each class assembly.
The administration was informed over the summer of participation in the one-to-one project. Over the next month, staff and community will have time to be informed, ask questions, and “settle-in” to the school year before rolling out the One-to-One initiative. Teachers will be collecting forms and agreements from students through the month of September. A “Roll-Out” night will occur during the week of September 25th.
This wonderful opportunity for students and teachers will help every child have access to technology at school and home every day!
