Cornish Memorial Fund Established to Support Gardening and Local Produce
The Community Foundation of Frederick County announces The Mary Gregg Cornish Memorial Fund. Established by husband Dr. Edwin R. Cornish, Jr., it becomes one of more than 700 funds under management. With the fund, Dr. Cornish is honoring his wife’s love of gardening. Grants from the fund will support community gardens, including educational activities that promote gardening and the nutritional value of using local produce.
