Motorists Urged to Remain Cautious As Heavy Rains May Close County Roads
Frederick County officials urge motorists to use caution when they head home on their commute Thursday. According to the National Weather Service, portions of the county could receive ½ inch, or as much as 2-4 inches, of rain in a short period of time if there are multiple thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall in a short amount of time can result in rapid rises in streams, creeks and urban areas.
