County Budget Hearing Scheduled for March 14
Members of the public are invited to speak to their budget priorities for the coming fiscal year at Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater’s upcoming public hearing. The public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. Farmers looking to expand or diversify their operations can apply for funding through Frederick County’s award-winning Agriculture Innovation Grants Program. Applications for the Spring 2023 cycle of grants will be accepted now through March 31. Frederick County Flag Redesign Contest Announced
Designers younger than eighteen years of age must submit a parental consent form upon submission of a design. Designs should be submitted as a full color, high-resolution PDF, JPG, or PNG in landscape format and can be submitted by emailing 275@frederickcountymd.gov by the Friday, March 31, 2023 deadline. Submissions that are incomplete or received after the deadline, will not be considered. The contest will include two rounds.
