Glade Elementary Buddies Against Bullies

Glade Elementary School is spending the week working to make their school bull-free. Buddies Against Bullies Awareness Week takes place this week. The school’s Girls on the Run team will be speaking on the morning announcements each day of the week. They will be sharing strategies with students for addressing bullying. Tips include how to respond to a bully, and getting help from an adult. The young ladies created posters to promote their campaign against bullying. The posters are being displayed around the school. Bullying Prevention and Social Media Awareness

Thurmont Middle School will be hosting an evening seminar for all parents entitled Bullying Prevention and Social Media Awareness.  The program will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Thurmont Middle School’s cafeteria.  Thurmont Middle School is located at 408 East Main Street in Thurmont, Maryland.
