Free Flu Vaccination for Kids
The Frederick County Health Department (FCHD) will again offer free flu vaccines for children aged six month through 17 years old. The vaccines will be administered by appointment on the following dates:
- Saturday, October 4th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 8 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., and
- Friday, October 10 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
These flu clinics will be held at the Frederick County Health Department at 350 Montevue Lane in Frederick, Maryland. Appointements can be made at www.frederickcountymd.gov/flu or by calling 1-877-419-3409.
Both injectable “flu shot” and intranasal FluMist are available.
