Drug Complaint Results in Felony Drug Arrest of Walkersville Woman
Officers with the Frederick Police Department responded to the WaWa in the 1000 block of West Patrick Street on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Police received a complaint advising two subjects were using heroin in a vehicle parked at the gas pumps.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Kimberly Jean Tobin of the 8000 block of Devon Lane in Walkersville, and Joseph Dennis Marshall of the unit block of Madison Avenue in Hagerstown. After being questioned about drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle, Marshall admitted to having syringes for heroin use and was placed under arrest.
A search incident to arrest revealed Marshall was in possession of additional paraphernalia and heroin.
Tobin also admitted to having syringes in the vehicle and advised officers that she had heroin on her person. Tobin then handed the officers approximately 6 grams of heroin before being placed under arrest as well.
The vehicle was searched and a digital scale and packaging equipment was recovered as a result. Marshall and Tobin were then transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for further processing.
