Mr. Griffin Walker Chapman, age 81, of New Midway, died Monday, June 19, 2017 at his daughter’s residence in Warrenton, VA. Born August 10, 1935 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Walker and Rebecca Mantz Chapman. He was the husband of Mary “Maddie” Davis Chapman who died in 2005. Mr. Chapman was of the Methodist faith. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 and later served in the Army Reserves for three years.
