Question D: Binding Arbitration Not Good for Frederick County

This year county voters will face Question “D” on the ballot, a proposed charter amendment that “will require the County Council to provide by ordinance for binding arbitration by a neutral arbitrator whose decision MUST be funded by the county budget”. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region III, and state officials will hold a Community Coordination & Outreach meeting for Frederick County residents from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27.  They will share a presentation during the first hour and leave time for questions about the draft flood maps to see where identified flood risk may be changing.
