Frederick County residents who wish to register to vote in the June 2, 2020, Presidential Primary Election are reminded that the deadline for voter registration is 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.  The same deadline applies to voters who are already registered and wish to make changes to their name, address, or party affiliation before the Primary Election. Frederick County wants you to Vote Safe-Vote at Home-Vote by Mail. Registered and eligible voters will automatically receive a primary election ballot in the mail. There was a delay in the post office delivery of many ballots to Frederick County voters from the Maryland State Board of Elections.  You should receive your ballot no later than next week.  Voters who have not received their ballot by Tuesday, May 19, should notify our office. Board of Elections Issues Voting Information for June 2 Primary

Frederick County - News Flash,

All registered and eligible voters in Frederick County and across Maryland will receive ballots in the mail for the June 2 Presidential Primary Election. The Maryland State Board of Elections will mail the ballot to the address on file for every voter. Voters should receive their ballots by mid-May. Frederick County Board of Elections Statement on April 2020 Elections

Frederick County - News Flash

The Frederick Board of Elections announced that the 2020 Primary Election will be delayed until Tuesday, June 2, 2020. The delay is in response to Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s proclamation today to provide the state additional time to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and allows local boards of elections and election workers to implement public health safeguards for the primary election.
