The Town of Walkersville will have a Meet the Candidates Night on August 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Walkersville Library. The program will allow citizens to meet candidates for the 2018 Town of Walkersville Elections being held September 10, 2018. The election will see a lot of change in elected officials this year. While the rest of the country fixates on the mid-term elections in November, Walkersville residents have an important election looming much sooner. The Town will elect a Burgess and five Town Commissioners on September 10, 2018. The election already proves to change the make-up of the local government dramatically.
