Mike also owns Digital Age Solution, an I.T. firm offering Managed Services, Computer Repairs & Sales, Voice Over IP Telephone Service, Networking, and Software Engineering. Mike actively participates in the community in various roles including: Walkersville Planning & Zoning Commission Member, Kaleidoscope 4-H Club Leader, Friends of Walkervsille Library, Vice-President, Frederick County 4-H Camp & Activities Center, Inc. Summer Solstice 8K Race To Close Streets and Park in Walkersville

The 2022 Summer Solstice 8K Race will be this Saturday, June 18th in Walkersville. The race will begin in front of the Firehall on W. Frederick Street, heading up to take a left on Glade Road, taking a right onto Devilbiss Bridge Road, a loop around the road in Heritage Farm Park, and then reverse course back to the Firehall. Charles Albert (“Charlie”) Nicodemus, life-long resident of Walkersville, MD, passed into Glory on May 28, 2022, with members of his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Kathryn Zimmerman Nicodemus. In addition to his devoted wife of 70 years, he is survived by two children and their spouses, John C. Local Students Raising Funds for Ukraine Relief Efforts

The Walkersville High School Leo Club will hold a Dine Out Night at Madrone’s on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. to raise funds for UNICEF’s Ukraine relief efforts. Madrone’s will donate 10-20% of total checks for patrons who tell their waiter/waitress that they are there for the Ukraine fundraiser.

Water Main Replacement To Interrupt Water Service

There will be a temporary interruption of water service around the area of Pennsylvania Dr., on Monday, February 14th, at approximately 10:00 am. This interruption is due to a water main replacement project. We anticipate the interruption to be between 2-4 hours, and will strive to have the water back on at the earliest possible time.
