Goblin, ghosts, and ghouls are infesting Walkersville High this October 22nd. National Honor Society, Key Club, and the International Thespian Society are putting on a haunted house for only $5 a person that is sure to bring thrills and shrills. But beware! It is not recommended for kids under the age of 13!

Key club president Anna Sepanic said, “I’m really excited for the haunted house! A couple of us had this idea last year and it’s really awesome that we have been able to include so many people. I also like the fact that we are doing a haunted school for our theme. It’s very fitting and actually kind of funny! Even if it’s not ‘scream scary’ it will still be a super fun thing to do on a Saturday night!”

Many of the NHS members are getting involved as well. Senior Gracie Armogida said, “I can’t wait to help set up and make it super scary. It is going to be thrill seeking fun and exciting. Be there or be scared.” Also, senior Ryan Manchester said “No one under the age of 13 should be there because we are going to make it really scary. I’m helping them set up so you know it’s going to be awesome.”

The haunted high school is only going to be great if lots of people come. Junior Collin Jacobs is definitely going to be there. Jacobs said “ I’m going but I will freak out if there is anything clown related. If there is a clown and it jumps out at me I will probably pee myself and punch them.” English teacher Tom Kollai is upset that he is going to be out of town that weekend but he is hoping that there is “going to be lots of videos and pictures of how scary it is.” Kollai also said, “It’s so cool that our school is doing something like this because we never have before.”

Make sure you come to see how haunted this high school can really be October 22nd at 7:00 pm.
