RE-ENACTMENT OF SIGNING OF TOWN CHARTER
The Town of Walkersville will kick off a nearly year-long celebration of the 125th anniversary of its founding on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The public is welcome to come celebrate in Walkersville’s Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The event includes a re-enactment of the Charter signing from 1892 that incorporated the town. A brief history of Walkersville will be given. Town officials will provide an explanation of events to be held from May through December 2017 sponsored in honor of the 125th Celebration.
