New Managers of Community Thrift Shop
MaryAnne Schouw and Mel Palmer have graciously volunteered as the new co-managers of the Glade Valley Community Services‘ Community Thrift Shop. They take over management after long-time managers Kathy and Barry Maronis retired recently. Mel has lived in Walkersville for the past 25 years and recently retired from the National Institute of Health. She has been volunteering for the community for many years- Food Bank, GVAA cheerleading coach, vacation bible school, and is active in her church’s programs.
