County Executive Gardner Announces New Residential Solar Co-Operative Program

Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner today announced the launch of a new solar co-operative program to help residents who want to reduce their carbon footprints and save money at the same time. Homeowners in a solar co-op use their combined bulk buying power to save on the total cost of going solar. Residents purchase power at a lower rate, and enjoy financial incentives. Blizzard Clean-Up and Aftermath Continues

Glade Valley and the entire region continue to suffer the costs and burdens of the historic blizzard that dumped 35 inches of snow in Walkersville. Many neighborhoods in the county have not seen snow plows, at all. Frederick County, The City of Frederick, and Frederick County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday.
