Frederick County Government Offices to Be Closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday
Frederick County Government offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2018 for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday. Offices will return to regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Clarifications to the schedule:
- Animal Control Center will be open on Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the showing of animals and adoptions from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Details: www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/animalcontrol or call 301-600-1546.

- Curbside Recycling & Landfill: There will be curbside recycling pickup on Jan. 15 and the Landfill and Reichs Ford Road Recycling Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Administrative offices will be closed. Details:

- TransIT Services: Connector and shuttle service will run on a regular schedule, no peak-hour service. TransIT-Plus (demand response) service will not operate.
