County Executive Jan Gardner to Host Meetings to Gather Public Input – Oct. 5

Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner invites residents to meet with her during two public outreach sessions on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Winchester Hall.

From 6 to 7 p.m., she will hold an informal community meeting called the “Talk of the Town.” This open-door session allows residents to stop by and ask questions about county government, discuss their ideas for the future, and express any concerns.

At 7 p.m., Executive Gardner will begin a Town Hall to gather input from residents and community members on issues and concerns that could be considered in the county legislative package for the 2018 General Assembly Session.

“Open government requires open doors and open dialogue,” Executive Gardner said. “I encourage citizens to share their ideas and provide feedback. The best ideas come from the citizens.”

Both meetings will be held in the first floor hearing room of Winchester Hall, 12 E. Church St., Frederick. The “Talk of the Town” session will not be televised. The Legislative Town Hall session will be televised live on FCG TV, cable channel 19, and webcast at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video.
