Board of Elections Issues Voting Information for June 2 Primary

Frederick County - News Flash,

All registered and eligible voters in Frederick County and across Maryland will receive ballots in the mail for the June 2 Presidential Primary Election. The Maryland State Board of Elections will mail the ballot to the address on file for every voter. Voters should receive their ballots by mid-May. Voters must be registered with the Democratic or Republican parties to vote for President and most other contests in the June 2 Primary Election. Any voter not registered with either of these parties will only be eligible to vote for Board of…

Biggs Ford Water Main Repaired

During this evening’s Town Meeting, Walkersville Burgess Chad Weddle announced that the water main break on Biggs Ford Road had been repaired. Early today, water was shut off for the Creek Side development, two large churches, and homes on Kenneth Drive. A leak had been found in a water main led to the shut off. The repairs took longer than anticipated and continued into the evening. Crews were still on site working at 6:00 p.m.
