Mr. Donald Wilford Bell, 82, longtime Walkersville farmer, died peacefully Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following complications from a stroke. He was the husband of the late Carolyn Burdette Bell, who predeceased him on July 17, 2005. Born March 17, 1934 in Frederick, he was the son of the late William Wesley and Mary Ellen (Hahn) Bell. Mrs. Melissa Ann (Stup) Jarvis, 51, a lifelong Walkersville dairy farmer, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 2016. She was the wife of Larry Gene Jarvis, Jr. They just celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary. Born January 1, 1965 in Frederick, she was the daughter of Jim and Louise Stup of Walkersille. Melissa was a 1982 graduate of Walkersville High School.
