Born July 27, 1929 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James Oscar and Iva Elizabeth Topper Orndorff. She was the wife of Richard H. Layman, whom she married on April 25, 1959 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Robert (Bob) Eugene Brandt, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Palm Harbor, Florida, on October 16, 2019, surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Walkersville, Maryland, on July 29, 1935, to Milton Lawrence and Evelyn Hartsock Brandt (both deceased). He had one brother, William Charles Brandt, and one sister, Geraldine Jones (both deceased). He graduated from Walkersville High School in 1954.
