Furman L. “Panky” Sparkman, age 69, of Woodsboro, died Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home. Born October 22, 1948 in Cumberland, KY, he was the son of the late Bruce and Hazel Blair Sparkman. Mr. Sparkman was a graduate of Walkersville High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He worked in construction in the Frederick area, retiring in 2010.
