Mr. Justin Aaron Keckler 22, of Walkersville, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Born November 28, 1994 in Frederick he was the son of Jason and Crystal Keckler of Walkersville. Justin was a 2012 graduate of Walkersville High School and received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland in College Park in 2016. Darlene Ann Haines, age 76, of Walkersville, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her home. Born September 1, 1940 in New Midway, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Carrie Frounfelter Haugh. She was the wife of Nathan L. Haines, her husband of 43 years. Mrs. Haines was employed with the Frederick County Public Library at Walkersville. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her great grandchildren. Walkersville To Hold Budget and Tax Hearings Wednesday Evening
The Town of Walkersville will hold public hearings on its budgets and taxes during its Town Meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
