School Bus Involved in Collision During WHS Drop-Off
At approximately 7:20 a.m. this morning, a collision between a school bus and another vehicle occurred at the intersection of the Walkersville High and Elementary Schools’ entrance and Woodsboro Pike. School Administration and Emergency Personnel promptly responded to the scene. The Town of Walkersville is currently still accepting Letters of Interest for the position of Election Supervisor and alternates. Alternates are available on election day, September 10, 2018, to assist five Election Supervisors, possibly checking in voters, handing out ballots, monitoring ballot boxes and election booths, as needed. Voting has been extended this year and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., so it will be a long day.
